Product Description

Under the watchful eye of Lord Feathers of Eiderdown, Fabletown's Forest Court meets to bring charges against Mr Wolf for his dastardly deeds. The prosecutors, Mr Hugh Mann and his assistant, Justin Case, call a range of characters to give evidence from Johnny Mole (secret agent) to the Three Little Pigs and Red Riding Hood. But are the well-known characters of fairy-tale just what they seem? And how can a non-vegetarian human accuse a wolf of being a meat eater?

In this courtroom comedy we have wacky, singing squirrels as clerks of the court; Sergeant Trunk, Constable Twig and police dog Bark from Special Branch giving evidence; protesters more interested in pizza meal deals than protesting and secret agents that self-destruct.

Even the audience are part of the trial - they are the jury and must decide whether the verdict is guilty or not guilty!

This fun, new musical raises interesting and topical points for discussion in your classroom, school and beyond.

Suitable for Key Stage 2 (ages 7 to 11). With an ideal cast size of 64, contains 49 speaking roles (can be easily reduced to 33 speaking roles if necessary) with any number of chorus parts. Extensive production notes, simple staging, very easy to costume and easily constructed and manageable props. Separate CDs of vocal and backing tracks (with essential sound effects) and Full Performance piano/vocal score (Grade 5/6 standard) and Easy Play Rehearsal Songs piano/vocal score (Grade 3 standard) also available.

A BRAND NEW product called Sing it! is also available to accompany this musical. This CD-ROM teaches the songs to the children without any teacher input. Children can use it at school or at home (think of the time it will save you!). Most schools use it in class on an interactive white board or in the school hall on the overhead projector to allow full cast practice. Children LOVE learning this way and the product is foolproof. Just give it to the children and they’ll do the rest.
