‘This fun and professional production tells the Christmas story through a simple but charming script with enough speaking parts for the whole class to be used flexibly. It still retains the traditional aspects but evolves it with a new spin. Unsurprisingly, the production contains lots of clapping and features eight wonderful clap-along songs. The clapping-karaoke videos included as part of this nativity are designed to get everyone participating and so are perfect for rehearsals but also for using during an actual performance so that the whole audience can join in. After all that clapping, will the audience have enough left in the tank to give a big round of applause? You might need earplugs - we reckon the noise will be deafening! A Happy-Clappy Nativity is a memory-making production and retains the true spiritual meaning of Christmas and will feed the soul of your whole school community.’

A Happy-Clappy Nativity is a Nativity musical full of happiness (and clappiness!) for KS1 & lower KS2 (ages 4-9).
The traditional Christmas story told through a simple but engaging script and 8 delightful clap-along songs, all written with one thing in mind … to have your hall echoing with lots of happy voices and loud applause!
The Book and CD Pack includes the full script with detailed stage directions, character information, tips and suggestions for costumes, props and scenery, a CD of all songs (vocal tracks and backing tracks) plus continuity/incidental music and sound effects where required and a piano score with voice line and guitar chords for all the songs, along with a CD-ROM of MP4 clapping karaoke videos for all songs, ideal for rehearsals and, if you choose, for interactive performances with your audience.
Also available is a CD-ROM of Digital Backdrops containing six images in the sequence they are required throughout the script, supplied in both a PowerPoint presentation and as individual hi-resolution JPG files. No more scenery painting! These images may be projected onto a screen or wall at the back of your stage or hand them to a local printer to print onto large boards or sheets in order to create your stage backdrops. They're also useful to print off for cast and stage crew to familiarise themselves with the sets and scene changes.
