Jill And Fred's Most Hysterical Historical Adventure - By Andrew Oxspring and Nick Haworth
In this rip-roaring race through time and space on a mission to keep an elderly couple's dream alive, besties Jill and Fred learn some important lessons from their hilarious, Horrible Histories-esque encounters with the past's most famous (and some not-so-famous) characters!
Under the watchful eye of Alexa, their digital friend whom they have unwittingly brought to life, Jill and Fred (and the audience) are given a hugely-entertaining, informative musical reminder of the bravery, ingenuity and sacrifice of those who went before. So hold on tight, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride in this All-Year-Round musical for KS2 (ages 7-11)!
The Book and CD Pack includes the full script with detailed stage directions, character information, tips and suggestions for costumes, props and scenery, a CD of all songs (vocal tracks and backing tracks) plus continuity/incidental music and sound effects where required and a piano score with voice line and guitar chords for all the songs.
The CD-ROM pack version replaces the wire-bound A4 book and includes both a PDF and an editable MS Word document of the full script allowing you to re-write or individualise the text, dialogue and lyrics to suit your needs and a PDF of the piano score on the CD-ROM (you can print as many copies of the script and score as you require from your PC), along with MP3s of all tracks. The CD-ROM pack also contains detailed stage directions, character information, tips and suggestions for costumes, props and scenery along with an audio CD of all songs (backing tracks & vocal tracks) plus continuity/incidental music and sound effects where required.
Also available is a CD-ROM of Digital Backdrops containing nine images in the sequence they are required throughout the script, supplied in both a PowerPoint presentation and as individual hi-resolution JPG files. No more scenery painting! These images may be projected onto a screen or wall at the back of your stage or hand them to a local printer to print onto large boards or sheets in order to create your stage backdrops. They're also useful to print off for cast and stage crew to familiarise themselves with the sets and scene changes.
