‘Meerkat Manners is a fun musical with brilliant songs and a great storyline catering for all types of Key Stage 1 groups to perform. The songs were a delight to choreograph dances to and the groups of children that I worked with in the production were able to bring everything to life fantastically. It is a musical which also covers many areas of learning. I would highly recommend Meerkat Manners to schools and community theatre groups as it is so wonderfully written and is sure to be enjoyed!’

Meerkat Manners is a delightful story about a family of African Meerkats and their quest to teach the unruly Hyenas how to have manners. With speaking parts for 17 children plus narrators, this Key Stage 1 musical also contains parts for elephants, monkeys, zebras and lions, all of which the children will enjoy performing!
Ideal for younger children aged 4-7 years, this musical features an original script with five original songs and also offers a great introduction to Africa. With a running time of approximately 40 minutes, this musical can be easily extended with the addition of your own dances and music, or shortened as required.
The A4-sized ring-bound book contains the complete script and the piano score with vocal line and guitar chords, along with a handy USB stick containing MP3 guide vocal tracks (to help your children learn the songs), MP3 backing tracks (for use in your performances), PDF lyric sheet files for all of the songs and the editable script in Word format.
