‘Meerkat Manners is a fun musical with brilliant songs and a great storyline catering for all types of Key Stage 1 groups to perform. The songs were a delight to choreograph dances to and the groups of children that I worked with in the production were able to bring everything to life fantastically. It is a musical which also covers many areas of learning. I would highly recommend Meerkat Manners to schools and community theatre groups as it is so wonderfully written and is sure to be enjoyed!’

Meerkat Manners is a delightful story about a family of African Meerkats and their quest to teach the unruly Hyenas how to have manners. With speaking parts for 17 children plus narrators, this Key Stage 1 musical also contains parts for elephants, monkeys, zebras and lions, all of which the children will enjoy performing!
Ideal for younger children (ages 4-7), this musical features an original script with four original songs and also offers a great introduction to Africa. With a running time of approximately 40 minutes, this musical can be easily extended with the addition of your own dances and music, or shortened as required.
The book contains the complete script and the piano score with vocal line and guitar chords, along with a CD containing guide vocal tracks (to help your children learn the songs) and backing tracks (for use in your performances).
The script is also available as an editable version in Word format, if required, after you have already purchased this musical from us. Simply contact us with your full name, invoice number and e-mail address and we'll gladly arrange for the script to be e-mailed to you free of charge.
