Product Description

A wonderful 25 minute Easter musical suitable for ages 5 to 9 year olds (Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2).

There are approximately 25 short speaking parts in this charming Easter musical but a smaller cast could easily 'double-up' or extra lines could be added for a larger one. The five songs, including 'Hey, here comes Jesus!' and 'I do not know him!' are quick to learn and are great fun to sing. There's a beautiful Last Supper song 'Now and forever' and 'He's the King!' is a jubilant finale with actions and hand-jives, which children will want to keep singing when Easter's over (substitute the one word 'Easter' with the name of your town, or, if it has too many syllables, with the word 'parish' - it makes a great assembly song!).

The songs come with lovely backing tracks and can be sung individually, or with bible-readings between (which are provided), or with the play.

Approximate Duration: 25 minutes
