‘Beautiful Christmas songs. Easy to learn, really catchy and had the children singing them all through December. Story fits in nicely with the songs and poem. Highly recommend for foundation and KS1.’

Product Description
'Twas the night before Christmas and all round the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse ... The peace and quiet of Christmas Eve is disturbed by a noisy clatter outside. Who can it be? The Night Before Christmas is a magical, musical adaptation of the well-known nineteenth century rhyme of the same name. This heart-warming tale brings the magic of Christmas to life in a fantastically festive setting.
Suitable for children in Key Stage 1 and early Key Stage 2 (6-9 year olds), there are parts for mice, children, toys, Father Christmas, reindeer and many, many more, all with amazing costumes. This complete performance pack contains everything you need for your performance (for music readers and non-music readers alike). The book contains the piano/vocal score. The separate pull-out script (included with the book) contains the cast list, staging suggestions, costume ideas and the complete script (photocopiable with a performance licence). Performance licences are available to purchase separately online (details included with book).
The songs are incredibly Christmasy and the included CD contains backing tracks and performance tracks as well as incidental music providing opportunities for adding dance and mime to the production. This musical is a non-nativity and so should also be ideal for multi-cultural schools.
