Donkey For Sale is a delightful retelling of the Biblical Nativity as experienced by a donkey called Alfie.

Having been bought by Joseph, Alfie spends days carrying Mary to Bethlehem. He is really fed up, until the events and excitement surrounding the birth of Baby Jesus make him really happy.

Suitable for children aged between 4-7 years, approximately 20 minutes duration and suitable for schools or churches (large or small casts - flexible part allocation). The Teacher's Book contains production notes, music score and CD with demonstration songs and backing tracks for rehearsals and performances. The play part is available separately in the Script (Pupil's Book).
